Used material handlers for scrap, recycling and ports
Material handlers from Sennebogen, Fuchs and Liebherr are built for continuous loading of scrap, timber, waste and bulk cargo. Our stock covers wheeled machines of 20 to 40 tonnes with an elevating cab, plus tracked and stationary units for ports and recycling plants. Most are sold with a sorting grab, an orange peel grab or a magnet system.
A material handler works long shifts, so the slew bearing, boom and stick cylinders, hydraulic pumps and cab elevation deserve a close look. Engine hours and known wear are documented in the listing, and our own workshop can repair or replace what is needed before delivery, in consultation with you. We also handle the transport, including the boom removal often needed for shipping.
Do you sell material handlers with a generator for a magnet?
Some machines have a built in generator. If not, our workshop can install a generator set for a lifting magnet.
What reach do I need for a scrap yard?
For loading trucks and containers a reach of 12 to 15 metres is usual. Feeding a shredder or loading ships needs 18 metres or more.
