Used tracked excavators for car dismantling businesses, from Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu and Hitachi. Various models and configurations, all fitted with a Powerhand grapple for efficient, precise handling.
Used track loaders for demolition, landfill and heavy ground
Track loaders such as the Caterpillar 953, 963 and 973 do the work of a wheel loader on ground where wheels get stuck: demolition sites, landfills, wet soil and scrapyards. They are rare on the used market, so we make a point of keeping some in stock. Typical options are a ripper, a multi purpose bucket and a guarded cab.
The undercarriage is the most expensive part of a track loader, so we document the condition of chains, rollers, sprockets and pads for every machine, together with what we know about the final drives, hydraulics and engine. Should the undercarriage or anything else need work first, our own workshop can do it before transport, in consultation with you. Shipping overseas is arranged with the export documents.
Which track loader size do I need?
For demolition and recycling most customers choose the 20 tonne class, a 963. For landfill and quarry work the heavier 973 is the better choice.
Can a track loader be shipped in a container?
Smaller models fit on a flat rack or in an open top container. Larger machines go as roll on roll off cargo, which we arrange.
